Toxins are all around us. Whether it is bad habits, clutter, or chemicals… literal toxins.
Let’s talk about what it takes to remove that.
- Minimalizing.
Clutter creates negativity. When we look at clutter everyday, it makes our brains tired. Clean, simple walls, shelves, counters help our brains relax; producing peace and gratitude. Go through your clothes and donate anything you haven’t worn in the last year. Go through your makeup and throw away all of the expired products that you have not worn in the last 6 weeks. And do you really need that many laundry baskets?
- People.
This is a big one. You are the sum of the five people that you surround yourself with. Have you ever thought about how we are all conditioned from birth? We watch the way our parents carry themselves, we learn the same phrases and lingo that they use on a daily. If you’re the smartest person in your friend group, find a new friend group. Put yourself around the people that have the traits that you admire.
- The fun part, CHEMICALS.
Go look at everything you own in your house. (I.E. candles, soap, laundry detergent, toothpaste, febreeze) If it has the word “fragrance” on it, toss it. The word “Fragrance” is a blanket word that covers all of the dangerous chemicals that the companies don’t want to put on the bottle. This is the part where we start to replace all of the harsh chemicals with healthy, natural, and CHEAPER products. Yes, I said cheaper. Take a seat ladies (or fellas, other). Lets save some dough.
